Hello, We are now taking orders for the first shipment of beers from the great Japanese craft brewery Kiuchi. After 173 years as a sake brewer, the Kiuchi Brewery started brewing beer in 1996. We will be bringing to Ontario their Hitachino Nest Red Rice Ale (beer is fermented with both ale and sake yeasts), Hitachino Nest Weizen, Hitachino Japanese Classic Ale and Hitachino Hitachino Nest White Ale. Please contact us for pricing and other details. Established in 1864, Sarajevo Brewery has been not only a synonym for good beer, but also a symbol of Sarajevo’s suffering and heroic spirit. The brewery’s renowned underground springs were one of the very few precious sources of drinking water during the siege of Sarajevo 1992-1996. Now, Roland + Russell will be introducing their beers to Ontario very soon. And now, some sad news... due to overly high production costs, O’Hanlon’s Brewing Company will no longer be involved in brewing Thomas Hardy’s Ale. Therefore, we will not see the 2009 vintage of this legendary barley wine. A very small amount 2008 vintage is still available at selected LCBO store.
