Hello, Brewdog PUNK IPA - a recent arrival to LCBO stores is an interesting hybrid between American and British IPA’s. The brewery, known for its bold and provocative beers (Paradox, Tactical Nuclear Penguin) calls the brew a “trans-atlantic fusion IPA”. This fresh, full flavoured natural beer is their tribute to the classic IPA’s of yesteryear. The post modern twist is the addition of amazing fruity hops giving an explosion of tropical fruit flavours and a sharp bitter finish. e Flying off the LCBO shelves is Southern Tier’s Creme Brulee, a wonderfully intriguing and flavoured Imperial Milk Stout. Think vanilla and Irish Cream, caramel and butterscotch with discreet mocha undertones. While you are at it, you may wish to try Southern Tier’s Porter Dark - a bargain at $2.20 per bottle - LCBO 125476. As previously mentioned, due to overly high production costs, O’Hanlon’s Brewing Company will no longer be involved in brewing Thomas Hardy’s Ale.
